I thought it was bigger but besides that , the speaker is awesome we just it in the paddle board and work pretty good
I’ve owned other Bluetooth on-the-go speakers previously, even “waterproof” ones. This lil bugger can put out some crisp sound that can be heard well from a distance away. Such a great design with a suction that really holds on. Kayak, shower wall, any glass surface. As soon as I starting using it the first thing I thought was that I needed more. Hopefully they are able to play in sync 2 or 3 at a time.
Took this with us to Hawaii for tunes while on the beach. Such a great investment. Small enough to keep in a backpack full of other stuff and great sound quality.
Just got both this Barnacle + and the classic Barnacle and am so stoked. Put it to the test as soon as I pulled it out of the box and threw it in to my full bathtub, sat it in direct blast of the shower, stuck it to just about everything in sight and haven't had one issue yet. As a musician myself, I was skeptical on what the quality of sound would be but was pleasantly surprised when I played a mix of all genres of music and they all sounded great, it even gets pretty loud!! Love the size too. Perfect to just drop in my backpack and bring with me wherever I go. Definitely will be testing this out on the golf course once this snow melts and goes without saying this will be suction cupped to an SUP all summer long!!
I love this thing! It sticks to pretty much anything as long as it’s clean. So far I’ve taken it on a few boat rides, pool trips, showers, and beach trips. I can’t figure out how to add songs to it (it says just to hook it up to a computer and it should pop up to drag and drop songs but that hasn’t happened yet). I did completely submerge it for a few seconds in a pool to test it out and the speaker went out for a bit. The sound came back but I wouldn’t hold it underwater. It floats well and the charge lasts for a good amount of time on full volume.
